Must be a full-time student. First preference given to a first-generation student who has experienced educational or socioeconomic barriers that have impacted their access to higher education opportunities. Examples of such barrier may include, but are not limited to: Pell eligible student, first-generation college student, student from a single-parent household, student who was raised by an extended family member, or a student who was in the foster care system. First preference to a first-generation student from Muhlenberg County, second preference to a first-generation student from Ohio County, and third preference to students from a county contiguous to the aforementioned counties. Must have financial need. Renewable provided the recipient continues to meet the established criteria.
