Joseph A. Dear Memorial Scholarship Fund

Must be a full-time student and pursuing a major or minor in Journalism. Must have one of the following qualities: Pell-eligible; first-generation student; or demonstrate unique ability. Must be a graduate or a high school or resident of Kentucky. First preference to a graduate of a high school or resident of one of the following counties in Kentucky formerly served by Mr. Walter Dear’s group of newspapers: Henderson, McLean, Union, and Webster.
