Northern Kentucky Fly Fishers, Inc., Red Barrington Scholarship

Every year NKFF selects a lucky recipient to receive our Red Barrington Scholarship grant. The requirements for this award are:The student must be currently enrolled in a Kentucky college or universityThe student must be a second year or more advanced student. Post-graduate students are eligible.The student must have a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or betterThe student must have a declared major related to biology, chemistry, or other environmentally related study programThe student must be recommended by a current faculty memberThe student must have conducted extra-curricular projects related to the environment. Water quality or fisheries-related projects will be preferred.Prior RBSF scholarship winners are eligible. The student must request consideration, in writing, by submitting a letter explaining why they deserve the award, a verifiable GPA record, a resume and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member
