Esther Graduate Scholarship Fund for Women

Must be officially enrolled as a graduate student and completed at least six hours of graduate work. Must be majoring in education with first preference to those in educational leadership. Must be taking at least six hours per semester. Must submit a college transcript if undergraduate work not at WKU. Must submit two letters of recommendation from faculty, staff or administrators, indicating both the length and type of relationship the author of the letter has had with the applicant and the leadership and scholarship qualities of the applicant. May choose to include an essay, no longer than 1,000 words, in which they explain and discuss their commitment to improving women’s lives through scholarship, service, activism, and advocacy regarding women’s issues, problems, and concerns. The essay will be enhanced by including specific illustrations or examples of how they have demonstrated commitment to these issues.
