John Reginald “Reg” White Scholarship

The Reg White Scholarship is available every year to students who are working their final year toward a Bachelor’s in Social Work. Students must be Kentucky residents to be eligible. We offer two (2) scholarships each year at $1,000 per scholarship. The student must be enrolled and attending classes during the Fall Semester when the scholarship is awarded.

The scholarships will be awarded based upon an essay submitted by the student that discusses their interest in the field of guardianship. The essay shall be one page, double spaced, 12 Font, Times New Roman type. The essay should include both personal and professional experience and answer the following questions:

• What led you to pursue an education in the field of Social Work?
• What are your plans in the field of guardianship?
• How will this scholarship contribute to your ability to continue your education?
