Stacey Coy

Stacey Coy

Stacey Rebekah Coy was a WKU senior health care administration major. Stacey was an active Hilltopper who loved her university dearly. She was a varsity cheerleader for football and men’s basketball for three seasons, serving two years as co-captain. She fulfilled her dream of serving as “Big Red” during the 1997-98 season. She tragically died in an automobile accident on January 8, 1998.

To honor her memory, her parents established the Stacey Coy Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund. The fund assists deserving WKU students who are on the Hilltopper Cheerleading Team. Through this fund, Stacey’s legacy on the Hill lives on in perpetuity.
