Robbie Baker Allen

Robbie Baker Allen

Robbie Baker Allen was the mother of Sue Jent, a loyal supporter of WKU and epitomized the Hilltopper spirit. Sue was a teacher in the Hopkins County Schools System and a member of Retired Teachers Association. She was also a member of the National Music Association and a Kentucky Colonel. She taught private music lessons for many years and loved to travel and read. She passed away in 2006 at the age of 90.

The Robbie Baker Allen Retired Faculty Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 through the estate of Sue Jent, to memorialize her mother, Robbie Baker Allen. The fund serves to honor retiring faculty from WKU, a new member each year, by assisting students who are admissible to the Professional Education Program. It honors faculty who have dedicated many years not only to education, but to the improvement of the lives of students at WKU. Through this fund, Robbie Baker Allen and Sue Jent’s legacies continue in perpetuity.
