O.V. Clark

Mr. O.V. Clark initiated this fund in 1971 as a special benefactor to the College Heights Foundation. Mr. Clark was also known to provide substantial annual scholarship support for needy and worthy students through the years, demonstrating his strong belief in the importance of an education.

Mr. Otis Vernon Clark was born February 11, 1926 to Otis Vernon and Susie Lee (Robertson) Clark and Otis Vernon Clark, Sr. Mr. Clark was a 1948 graduate of Western Kentucky University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music. As a student, Mr. Clark was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and participated in the WKU Choir.

After graduating from WKU, Mr. Clark became secretary-treasurer, and later president, of Western Kentucky Coca-Cola Bottling Company. While in Bowling Green, he was involved in the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Hobson House Association, the Landmark Association, and other arts and cultural organizations.

After a brief retirement in Florida, Mr. Clark died in Pelican Bay, Florida, on June 30, 2006.
