Michele and David Bell
Michele Reynolds Bell was born June 18, 1966 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Michele attended Warren Central High School and graduated in 1984. She then came to WKU, where she was an active member of Chi Omega sorority and pursued a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Upon graduation, she worked as a substitute teacher for Bowling Green Independent Schools and Warren County Public Schools, worked at Warren Elementary, and then started working in her current position as a first grade teacher at Richardsville Elementary School.
David Bell was born on May 11, 1965 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. After graduating from Goodpasture Christian School in 1983, David attended WKU. There he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management, which led him to hold various positions at local banks in Bowling Green. He currently serves as the Vice President of the local U.S. Bank N.A. He and Michele have two children, Caroline and Parker. Caroline has followed in her parents’ footsteps, also pursuing her degree at WKU. Like Michele, she is a member of Chi Omega.
To further their legacy on the Hill, Michele and David established the Michele and David Bell Scholarship in 2011. The fund serves to financially assist deserving WKU students achieve their academic goals. Through this fund, Michele and David pay their success forward as future students are helped in perpetuity.
