This award was created in 2008 within the College Heights Foundation. Mr. Mike Simpson, a 1985 alumnus of WKU, established the fund in memory of his stepfather, Malone Gaynor. It provides support for deserving students enrolled at Western Kentucky University. This action illustrates the importance of education to Mr. Simpson and to the late Mr. Gaynor.
