Kim and Rett Dallas
Mr. Gary (Rett) E. Dallas, Jr. and Mrs. Kimberly Ann Elliot Dallas were married June 13, 1992. Kim and Rett have two children together, John Carder and Abygail Dallas. As graduates of Western Kentucky University, Rett and Kim have strong ties to the University.
Rett Dallas was born January 1, 1969. Rett graduated from WKU in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Rett decided to further his education at WKU in by pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration. In 2000, he graduated from WKU with a Master of Business Administration degree. As an undergraduate student at WKU, Rett was involved in Greek life as a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After graduation, Rett held various positions at Southtrust Bank, U.S. Bank, and U.S. Bancorp Foundation. Rett is now the Executive VP and CFO of Education and Training Resources in Bowling Green.
Mrs. Kimberly Ann Elliott Dallas was born December 26, 1967. Kim graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1989 with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing, and again in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Kim also earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University. As a student at WKU, Kim was a member of Beta Beta Beta honors and service sorority. Since graduating from WKU, Kim has worked as a Registered Nurse at Medical Center, Baptist Hospital and Saint Thomas Hospital. Kim worked as a nursing instructor at Aquinas College in Nashville. After receiving her MSN Kim was the Nursing Case manager on the ortho/neuro units at Saint Thomas Hospital.
The Kim and Rett Dallas Scholarship Fund was established to support beginning freshmen at Western Kentucky University who graduated from Bowling Green High School and have chosen to pursue a major in Nursing or a discipline within the Gordon Ford College of Business. Through this fund the legacy of Kim and Rett Dallas will live on in perpetuity.
