Karen Warren Matchus

Karen Warren Matchus is a two-time graduate (’66 ’71) of WKU, and her husband David was an honorary Hilltopper. Karen’s initial profession was teaching business education at the secondary level. In 1999 the couple established a scholarship at WKU to benefit students with a demonstrated financial need who are pursuing a major within the School of Teacher Education in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. In this way they have helped to ensure the education of future generations as a way of leaving their legacy footprint.
