Emma E. Buckley
Emma E. Buckley was a longtime philanthropist in Kentucky. She was married to Clyde E. Buckley, a Lexington, Kentucky tobacco warehouse owner, until his passing. Among many other contributions, Emma established a wildlife sanctuary in Clyde’s honor in Frankfort, Kentucky.
To further her positive impact, Emma created a bequest in her will to establish the Emma Buckley Fund. The fund assists and encourages deserving WKU students who are from Fayette or Woodford County, Kentucky. Through this fund, Emma’s memory is honored.
