Earl Baskerville

Abner Earl Baskerville was born November 24, 1921 to Nannie Mae Trent and Robert Franklin Baskerville. Earl was a veteran, serving as Private First Class in the Army in World War II. He married Helen Baskerville December 11, 1943, and the couple had one son, Michael Earl Baskerville. Earl passed away tragically in a drowning accident January 9, 1982.

To honor his memory, his dear friend, Larry Berry, created the Earl Baskerville Scholarship Fund in April of 1982. The fund assists WKU students in pursuing their academic goals. Through this fund, Earl’s legacy lives on in perpetuity.
