Drs. Bharat and Bharati Mody

Drs. Mody are well known and respected practitioners in the Glasgow area. Dr. Bharat M. Mody is a board certified general surgeon. He received his medical degree from M.P. Shah Medical College and completed residencies at St. Thomas Hospital, University of Louisville Hospital, and Worcester City Hospital. He has been in practice for nearly five decades. His wife, Dr. Bharati B. Mody, is an OB/GYN and is affiliated with T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She attended medical school at Gujarat University B.J. Medical College and graduated in 1968. She also has nearly five decades of experience.

They have two children, Bhavana and Bhavini. Drs. Mody are loyal supporters of Western Kentucky University and belong to the Cherry Society and Cupola Society.

Both the Drs. Mody Minority Scholarship Fund for Glasgow Campus and the Mody Nursing Scholarship Fund are made possible by Drs. Bharat and Bharati Mody and reveal the devotion they have not only to WKU but also to assisting deserving students attain an education.
