Dr. Melissa Dennison

Dr. Melissa H. Dennison, a native of Allen County, earned her B.S. in Chemistry from WKU (graduating Summa Cum Laude) in 1980. She earned her M.D. from the University of Louisville in 1984. While at WKU she was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta and Pi Mu Epsilon. She did her Pediatric Residency at the University of Texas at San Antonio from 1984 to 1987. She worked in San Antonio for two additional years before moving to Clarksville, Tennessee in 1989. She was associated with the Children’s Clinic in Clarksville before moving to Glasgow in 1992. Dr. Dennison worked with Dr. Leticia Bravo until she started her own practice in 1997. Dr. Melissa Dennison is now a Pediatrician with Glasgow Pediatric Associates in Glasgow, KY. She also served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2004-2007, and is currently serving a term on the WKU Board of Regents.

Dr. Dennison established and continues to support several scholarships including, the Ken and Melissa Dennison Scholarship Fund, SkyTeach Scholarship Fund, Dennison Endowed Scholarship Fund, and Ovaleta Boucher Scholarship Fund.
