Department of Chemistry Scholarship Fund

Department of Chemistry Scholarship Fund

In the late 1970s, the Department of Chemistry faculty came together in an effort to honor several WKU Chemistry professors. Through donations made by Dow Chemical and a grant from the Eastman Kodak Company through its Educational Aid Program, the Chemistry Department established the Department of Chemistry Scholarship Fund in 1977.

Through this fund, the legacies of the late WKU professors Dr. Glenn Dooley, Dr. Ward Sumpter, and Dr. Carl McNally all live in on perpetuity as deserving full-time Chemistry majors are assisted in achieving their goals.
