Connie and Harry Largen

Connie and Harry Largen

The Connie and Harry Largen Scholarship Fund was established as Christmas gifts from their
children Harriet Lair, Kenneth Largen, Elizabeth Barlow, and James Largen and their families. Their children are proud graduates of W.K.U. Connie, a native of Frankfort, was born of Italian-American parents Cleofe Cinquini and C.M. (Putt) Benassi. She began working in the family restaurant at a young age and worked regularly until graduating from high school. She was the secretary to the director of the newly formed Kentucky Division of the Budget. She was promoted and served as secretary to four Commissioners of Finance before retiring to raise and care for her family. She served on the Saint Joseph’s School Board in Bowling Green and was a volunteer for the Saint Vincent DePaul Society for over fifteen years.
