Claude Lee and Dollie Beatrice Denton Cooley

The Cooley Scholarship was established by the late Helen Joyce Cooley of Cincinnati, Ohio in memory of her parents, Claude and “Dollie” Denton Cooley, who were born and reared in Adair County, Kentucky. Joyce, a retired elementary education teacher, established the endowment in 2006 to assist WKU students who are from Adair, Boyle, Casey, and Russell counties in Kentucky. Through this fund, the Cooley legacy lives on in perpetuity.
