Celsor Family
Marshall “Jimmie” Celsor was born on October 18, 1944. Jimmie graduated from WKU in 1965, with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture. After graduation, he had a prolific career as co-owner of CPC Selt Livestock, Inc. CPC Commodities started with the Celsor family farm in Fountain Run, Kentucky, and expanded to include commodities trading, feed, and hardware supplies.
Jimmie is married to Sara Downing Celsor, and together they have three children. Sara is also a graduate of WKU, earning a Bachelor of Science in business education in 1965. She served as a business teacher for the Allen County Vocational School before becoming secretary/treasurer for CPC Commodities.
To further give back to the university, Jimmie and Sara established the Celsor Family Scholarship Fund in Business and the Celsor Family Scholarship Fund in Agriculture. These funds assist deserving sophomore, junior, and senior WKU students who are pursuing a degree within the Gordon Ford College of Business and within the Department of Agriculture and Food Science. Through this fund, the Celsor family’s legacy on the Hill is honored.
