Carroll T. Vanhooser

Mr. Carroll T. Vanhooser was a 1959 graduate of Western Kentucky University where he majored in geography. During his time at WKU, Vanhooser played football from 1954-1957 and lettered all four seasons.

After graduation, he enjoyed a successful career and became President and Treasurer of Lowell Lingerie Company in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1973. In 1992, he retired from Lowell Lingerie Company. Mr. Vanhooser is married to Mrs. Joan Vanhooser, who graduated from Florida Southern College. They have two children: John and Steven.

Over the years, Mr. Vanhooser has generously supported WKU and was honored as a member of the Cupola Society recognizing consecutive giving to his alma mater. In December 1970, he established the Carroll T. Vanhooser Student Aid Fund, further demonstrating his devotion to WKU as well as his belief in the importance of education. The fund will serve as a lasting source of assistance and encouragement to deserving students attending WKU.
