Bradley R. and Christopher C. Boling

Bradley Ross Boling was born April 5, 1990, to Mark and Michele Boling. A Bowling Green, Kentucky, native, Bradley attended Bowling Green High School, excelling in both academics and athletics. He was a four-year letterman on the tennis team and 2007 Regional Tennis Champion. After graduating in 2008, he came to WKU where he majored in political science with a focus on pre-law and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He was a dean’s list student and was known for the way he embodied the WKU motto, “The Spirit Makes the Master.” He also enjoyed inline hockey, played in local leagues, and was a member of First Christian Church in Bowling Green. After being awarded his diploma in 2012, he passed away on February 17, 2012, at the age of 21.

Bradley was the older brother of Christopher Collins Boling. Christopher was born March 30, 1992. Like Bradley, he was a Bowling Green High School graduate. There, he lettered in tennis and swimming and was a 2010 Regional Tennis Champion. Chris was an enthusiastic recreational basketball player and also enjoyed playing inline hockey. After graduating in 2010, he attended WKU, where he majored in business and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He graduated in 2014. He was also a member of First Christian Church. He passed away on January 9, 2020, at the age of 27.

To honor their memories, friends and family established the Bradley R. and Christopher C. Boling Scholarship Fund.

The fund assists deserving WKU students who are graduates of Bowling Green High School and took AP Courses, as well as participated in individual sports. Recipients must also have a GPA of 3.2 or higher or an ACT score of 24 for beginning freshmen. Through this fund, Bradley and Christopher’s legacies continue in perpetuity.
